Skills - Capital Letters

Use capital letters whenever they are necessary in the following sentences. Rewrite the sentences on a piece of paper.

 

1. harry's birthday comes on thursday, june 14, this year.

2. it was col. a. m. jones who spoke at the veterans' day program.
3. our teacher, miss meek, has been reading to us from the burgess bird book for children.
4. on july 15, harry and i went to chicago, illinois, with our parents.
5. the corner of state and madison streets in chicago is known as the world's busiest corner.
