John had two playmates. Their names were David and George. George had a pet dog which he called Tony. David had a large pet cat which was named Stripes. John did not have any cat or dog, but he did have a goat which could pull a little wagon.

One day David and George came over to play with John. David brought Stripes with him, and George brought Tony. John had just hitched his goat to the wagon when the boys arrived. When Tong saw Stripes, he barked loudly and ran after him. Then the goat ran after Tony. The wagon upset, and there was a grand mix-up before the boys could rescue their pets.
