Skills
- Making Nouns Plural
|
|
To
make most nouns plural, just add an "s" at the end. If
a noun ends in -ch, -sh, -s, -x, or -z, add "es" at the end. If
a noun ends in "y" and there is a consonant before the "y",
change the "y" to "i" and add "es." If a noun ends in
"y" and there is a vowel before the "y" just add "s." If a noun ends in
"f" or "fe" change the "f" or "fe"
to "ves." |
| Fill in the blank in each sentence with the plural of the noun in parentheses. |
