the land along an ocean.

A coast can have many different looks. Here, there are no hills or mountains along the coastline. This reminds me of the coast along Florida and other eastcoast states like Georgia and the Carolinas. |

This coastline (coastline is another word for coast) is rugged. It has many cliffs and rock formations. There is very no, or very little beach here. |
