How many of you know what a NIBBLE is? That's right! It's a little bit of something - sort of like a small bite instead of a big one. When home computers were first being made, some silly guys decided that a piece of information should be called a byte (sounds like bite). Half of a byte is a nibble. That's how Nibble University got its name. AND...the name Nibble tells you a lot about what Nibble University is all about.

When Professor Nibble was in school he just hated it when his teacher said read the WHOLE chapter of one of his textbooks. He'd rather eat broccoli (well, almost!). One day the Professor got a teacher who was a little different than his others. She asked her students to read one or two pages and then do something to show her the next day. The Professor started having fun doing his homework and made an oath that if he became a teacher he'd do the same thing for his students. So, here at Nibble University, you will find short lessons that won't take you 100 years to finish!
